- Do I need a ticket?
Yes, but you can also buy one at the door for a higher cost.

The tickets are on the website “TheAfroHeist.com” under lineup, where the ticket link of each event is located under its respective flyer.
- Are tickets available at the door?
Yes, but will cost more.
- Are tickets refundable or transferable? What’s your refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable.
- Do I need an Afrotech badge to attend?
No, the night time events do not require an afrotech badge to attend, just your ID.
Venues & Transportation
- Where are the events taking place?
1. Thursday Night event is happening at NOTO HTX (3215 McKinney Street. Houston, TX)
2. Friday Night event is happening at SEASIDE LOUNGE (702 West Dallas Street. Houston, TX)
3. Saturday Morning event is happening at RESET ROOFTOP (600 Dennis St. Ste 200 Houston, TX)
4. Saturday Day event is happening at SNEAKS STADIUM (3030 Travis Street Houston, TX)
5. Saturday Night Finale is happening at THE ENCORE at the Indoors Nightclub (2301 Main Street Houston, TX)
- Is there parking or should I use rideshare? Will there be shuttles or group transport?
All these venues have many paid parking options and few free parking options. If riding with a group, uber/lyst are recommended to alleviate costs.
Food & Drinks
- Will there be food and drinks?
Yes, food and drinks will be available for sale at each venue.
- Can I bring my own food or drinks? Are there vegan/vegetarian options? Will there be African food vendors?
No, you cannot bring your own food and drinks. No vegan options will be available and yes African food vendors will be present on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be American food options.
Event Vibe & Experience
- What’s the dress code?
Dress code is fashionable; nothing particular but come looking good.
- Can I bring flags or cultural props?
Yes, flags and cultural props are very welcomed.
- Will there be photo booths or media walls?
Some events will have photobooths, not all.
- Are there VIP sections? What do they include?
Yes, every event will have VIP sections. A fee of $200-250 is required to provide you a section with VIP admission of 6-10 guests. After that, you will be required to purchase a minimum of 1 to 2 bottles per section, depending on the event, Text “AFROTECH VIP” to 240.547.7152 to book.
Entertainment
- Will there be DJs every night?
Yes, there will be multiple DJs every night playing all different genres of music.
- Are there surprise guests or themed nights?
Yes, surprise guests will be announced closer to each event. Expect known faces in the building.
Payment & Purchases
- Is the event cashless?
You can use card, tap, or cash if necessary.
- Are there merch or vendors on-site? What payment methods are accepted?
Only food vendors will be on site.

21+ is the age limit.
- What safety or health measures are in place? Is re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is allowed but a fee is required
